Rising Stories Podcast Episode #61 Mandy Osborne

My guest today is Mandy Osborne, owner of Milk and Honey Tees. She runs a successful t-shirt printing business from her home. What I love about Mandy is the intentional way she runs her company. Mandy is also a mom to 3 boys. She purposely kept her business at home so she could be available to her family. She gives us lots of nuggets of truth and wisdom on living and working from home.

We also talk about her Etsy Pattern website and how that has grown with her business. Listen to hear what Mandy is doing to give back to a community in Rwanda.

The THREE THINGS she is loving:

1. Tan Towels - Easy to use self-tanning towels

2. New Morning Mercies - Her devotional book by Paul David Tripp

Rising Stories #56: Kimberly MacNeill

Today my guest is an author who seeks to live out her faith in so many different ways throughout her life.

Kimberly MacNeill is an advocate for women in her community and is one of those women who, when you meet her, you instantly want her to become your new best friend. We met while collaborating on an event for Women in the Workplace, which is both of our passions. Kimberly is the minister to women at a church here in the Nashville area and she is the author of Whispers: Transforming Words for Your Ever-Changing Life

Kimberly also speaks all around the country to women about going deeper in their Christian faith and their ever-changing life. Her story is different in that her speaking and teaching ministry came first and then she wrote her book. Listen as she speaks more about preaching & being an author. Here is my conversation with Kimberly MacNeill.

Rising Stories #55: Tamra Davis

A few years ago I found myself watching a cooking show on Youtube. Little did I know that the cook was also an amazing director. Tamra Davis began her career directing music videos for acts like Hanson, The Bangles, Britney Spears, Depeche Mode, and The Beastie Boys. (Side note: Tamra married Mike D of The Beastie Boys back in 1993.) She has since directed feature films such as Billy Madison & Half Baked. Now you will find her directing for TV on shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty, and my two favorites, Odd Mom Out & Younger, just to name a few.

Listen as Tamra and I discuss women directors and how she is on a mission to help empower women in authority positions. We also talk about some of the talented actresses she has worked with on these shows. Every morsel of this interview is priceless and I can't wait for you to hear her story.
